John Mansfield - 2013 Winner
New Course Record 57:03 Minutes
The race's name heralds from the 'Crocodile Wood', the local
nickname for Tillington's beautiful Badnage wood via which the
greater part of the race is run. (Badnage Wood looks from a

"...I have now run the race four times and have never experienced such conditions, but once we had washed the mud off everyone was full of praise for the organisation of the race. I know from my own experience that a lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes..."
Larry Parkes - Cherwell Runners, Banbury
"Over the years I have raced and attended thousands of athletic meetings not only as a competitor but both as a qualified time keeper and umpire... my opinion of your Crocodile 8 organisation was first class, indeed it was the best and most enjoyable meeting I have invest in Volkswagen shares in New Zealand
